A suspect in XXXTentacion‘s tragic death has accepted a plea deal that could reduce his life sentence. According to Local 10 News, Robert Allen — who was previously charged with first-degree murder and robbery with a deadly firearm — pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of second-degree murder and robbery with a firearm.

XXXTentacion, born Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy, was fatally shot on June 18, 2018, shortly after leaving the RIVA Motorsports in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Prosecutors say he was killed by attackers who sought the $50,000 he’d just withdrawn from the bank.

Allen is one of four suspects arrested in connection to the rapper’s murder.
