Kanye West tweets he's “distancing himself from politics”

Kanye West, who has been a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump and the Make America Great Again movement, announced in a Wednesday tweet-storm that his “eyes are now wide open,” and he’s “distancing himself from politics and completely focusing on being creative.”

West claims he’s been “used to spread messages I don’t believe in,” adding, “I am distancing myself from politics and completely focusing on being creative !!!”

In another tweet, Ye attempted to clarify his views on social issues, writing, “I support creating jobs and opportunities for people who need them the most, I
